All fees are due with application.  Your space at the market can not be confirmed until payment has been recieved.  Please note: Fees are to reserve your space at the market and does not include a FOOD permit.

Terms and Conditions:
  1. The Market will run Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend, Saturdays from 11am-2pm (please note there will be NO market July 1st). Market set-up begins at 10am. Vendors are expected to stay for the full duration of the Market.
  2. All vendors shall be licensed or otherwise authorized to conduct business in the State of Massachusetts, if required. All vendors are responsible for their own permits, tax, license, and insurance liabilities. Copies of applicable licenses should be displayed.
  3. All food vendors and farmers must be permitted through the Chelmsford Board of Health. See attached BOH permitting guide.
  4. Per Chelmsford Town ordinance, no thin-film plastic bags may be used. Vendors must provide paper or reusable bags.
  5. Vendors must agree to exercise care in the use of facilities and property of the Town of Chelmsford. All vendors should refrain from smoking during the Market hours. Vendors are responsible for cleaning their own space and leaving it as they found it.
  6. COVID-19 Safety:
  • If anyone shows any signs of illness, they should not attend the market. Vendors are encouraged to wash their hands before, during, and after attending the market. Vendors should provide hand sanitizer at their booths. Surfaces and objects should be disinfected frequently. Discourage customers from touching products they are not purchasing for themselves.
  1. The Market Manager reserves the right to take on new vendors throughout the season to assure our customers have a good variety of items at any point throughout the season.
  2. Vendors may use the words “Certified Organic” only if they are certified.
  3. Vendor scales must display certification seal by the Massachusetts Weights and Measures Department. Local Chelmsford options are Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (978) 454-8021 and mlefebvre@nmcog.org or dtilton@nmcog.org
  4. Vendor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  5. The Market is subject to cancel due to inclement weather. The Market Manager will contact vendors in the event the market is cancelled.
  6. Vendors are required to give Market Manager 48-hour notice if unable to attend the market.
  7. Any violation of these terms and conditions, as determined by the Market Manager, shall subject the violator to corrective actions up to removal from the market.
