The Richmond Greenway Gap project team is looking for improvements to safety, walking, biking, parks, art, and other solutions, including a bridge, to connect the Richmond Greenway “Gap” at 23rd Street.
The Greenway is currently divided by railroad tracks and streets, requiring users to exit the trail and travel over a 1⁄2 mile out of direction on a circuitous route with complicated intersections, stairs, and difficult crossings in order to continue their journey on the trail. This is the last remaining gap in the Greenway - a regional route connecting Marin County with the East Bay. In Richmond, the Greenway serves densely populated, marginalized neighborhoods across the core of the City.
We’d like to hear what you think about potential improvements at and near the Richmond Greenway Gap. Please help us by taking this quick survey. Questions? Contact Cayla McDonell-Encina at cmcdonell@civicwell.org.
