Starting January 2021, the California Climate Action Corps will deploy AmeriCorps service Fellows with state and local government agencies, grassroots organizations, and universities and colleges where they will focus on organizing and implementing climate action projects with a strong emphasis on volunteerism and community engagement.
As an implementing partner, the Local Government Commission is recruiting 50+ Fellows for the first Climate Action Corps cohort through our CivicSpark program. Placements will begin to be posted in November 2020.
