Thank you for your interest in attending the 10th Annual Statewide Energy Efficiency Forum in Long Beach! This year, we are providing travel assistance for lodging and travel expenses. As we have limited funding available, travel assistance is limited to one recipient per organization. Funds will be awarded on a rolling basis, with need and background taken into consideration.

Travel assistance is open to local government staff and elected officials working to advance energy efficiency and climate action efforts. Priority will be given to speakers, first-time forum attendees, individuals working in rural, hard-to-reach, and/or underserved communities, and Beacon program participants.

We encourage you to apply right away since our funding is limited.  We will try to respond promptly to your request so you can make your travel arrangements in a timely manner.

The priority deadline to apply for travel assistance is June 4th, 2019.

Once your application has been received and processed, a determination will be made as to whether you do or do not qualify and the amount for your travel reimbursement. Every attempt will be made to issue awards promptly, though the exact time frame will be dependent on the volume of applications received. All award notifications will be sent by email.

If you receive a travel assistance award, it has been made directly to you and cannot be transferred to anyone else without a formal written request and the prior approval of the LGC.
