Airline Information

Airline Ticketing: AFAR & AWAY TRAVEL will make the plane reservations for the group. Once tickets have been purchased, they are non-refundable as specified in the ticketing agreement with the airline. If you cancel, you will be subject to the ticketing agreement with the airline. If you consent to AFAR & AWAY TRAVEL making your airfare reservations and travel with the group please indicate here: *

Homestay

A large portion of the Barcelona Exchange program is the homestay. Student placements are organized by your school faculty directly with the Casp school. AFAR & AWAY TRAVEL does not have anything to do with the placement of participants with their host families. I understand that should any issues arise related to the homestay they must be handled by Walsh Jesuit High School. *

Is the participant vaccinated against COVID-19? *

No one needs a COVID-19 test to travel to Spain at present. All travel restrictions were removed on October 21, 2022. Travel restrictions regarding COVID-19 are subject to change in response to changes to global or local health authorities’ guidance on the virus. It may be required by the European Union for a traveler to be vaccinated during my travel dates. I will monitor updates regarding travel guidance. If vaccination is required, I understand that Afar & Away Travel has no control over government rules and restrictions. *

Payment Options: Every family is unique in how they finance their trip. We accept checks, credit cards and debit cards issued in United States. Registration is not considered complete until the receipt of payment. If you indicated you would like to pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express a secure payment link will be sent to your preferred billing email in 24 to 48 hours of your registration. Your payment will be processed by a payment processor who will charge an additional processing fee.

If you choose to pay for your trip through your credit card you will be charged a 3% convenience fee per payment. For example: If your payment is $500.00 you will be charged an additional $15.00 for a total charge to your credit card of $515.
