Before scheduling a Special Trash Pick-up please make sure that you are within the incorporated City limits of New Castle. If in doubt, please call 302-322-9801.

If you live within the City of New Castle (click for incorporated City limits) large and/or bulk items, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, TV’s, sofas, etc., require a special trash pick-up. You may schedule a special trash pick-up by using this form, or by calling 302-322-9801.

Special trash pick-up requests must be scheduled at least one business day in advance. I.E. A special trash pickup for Monday must be received before noon on the Friday before. Special pick-ups are done as part of the regular trash schedule—typically Monday or Tuesday.

To ensure timely pick-up of your item, the request must be completed with payment by 12:00 p.m. at least one business day in advance of your normal trash day.

Please note: Special trash pickup requests received over the weekend for a Monday pickup run the risk of not being processed until the following week's trash pickup.

If you have multiple items, construction/remodeling material or items not listed below please call 322-9801 for a price estimate. Tree limbs and yard waste removal is free (collected City-wide on Wednesdays.)

All fees stated above, once paid to the City, are non-refundable.

Note: A service charge made by Stripe.com applies to each transaction. The amount of this charge will be provided to the cardholder for acknowledgment and acceptance prior to completion of a transaction. This processing fee is .30 per transaction plus 3% of the transaction amount.
