How: Campers can sign up for as many day camps (up to a total of 8 days) as they would like over the summer. Because each camp is different and we will rotate the camp themes every two weeks, no 2 days will be the same. SPACE IS VERY LIMITED AND REGISTRATION IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED. This is the first step in the registration process. Once you complete this form, we will contact you directly to confirm your child's spot in our Wilderness Day Camps. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a packet with more information regarding next steps, Covid-19 screenings, etc.

Cost: $100 per child per day

What:  Cal-Wood Day Camps are day-long, immersive, educational, and recreational programs. We are a non-profit, that hopes to connect with as many children as possible. Our beautiful 1,200 acre campus outside Boulder Colorado is the setting for a screen-free, nature-based, experience-driven program.

Mission:  Connecting kids to the Colorado Mountains since 1982.

Program: Each day, campers will have the option to choose from one of our exciting and engaging programs. These will range from exploring survival skills, fishing, archery, mountain biking, homesteading, Native American History, rock climbing, exploring scientific phenomena, and much much more.

An Option for friends and siblings: Families can form their own group and customize their camp experience. These groups can be comprised of siblings, relatives, friends, etc. Minimum 5 kids.

Cal-Wood's Instructors: All of our Instructors are highly trained and professional individuals. They have all undergone background checks and completed a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in science, education, or a related field. Some have Master's Degrees and Teaching Licenses. Our staff are able to provide fun, unique, and educational experiences for children of all ages and backgrounds.

COVID-19 Information: The health and safety of our campers and staff continues to be Cal-Wood's top priority. We have adopted extensive procedures designed to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These include health screenings of staff and campers; practicing social distancing; wearing masks or face coverings; maintaining small, stable groups throughout the day; increased hand washing and sanitation/cleaning; and much more.
