The Board Discretionary Fund was established to provide resources to a non-profit agency or program that is in need of a one-time grant. The funding may be used to purchase supplies or equipment that will have a direct impact on the clients served, or to support a program that needs immediate funding that does not fit the timeframe of the current United Way investment cycle. The funding request must fit under one of our four impact areas: Education, Income, Health or Basic Needs; and contribute to the goals and outcomes.
