Call for Proposals: 2023 GEO DEV Summit

Thank you for your interest in the 2023 GeoDev Summit held in hybrid format on November 16, 2023. For full event details please see the event website.

Details for Proposal Submissions
  • 45 minute information sessions or 90 minute sessions for hands on presentations and skill building sessions. Beginner or Intermediate sessions may use these formats.
  • Presentations that show how to solve a complex problem more easily, automate a workflow, or that teach or highlight a new tool or programming technique are always great!
  • Presentations are typically more successful when code is pre-written (or copied and pasted) and then explained thoroughly. Avoid typing your code live during the presentation or keep it to a minimum.
  • For Python presentations, it is strongly encouraged to use Jupyter Notebook or Notebooks directly in ArcGIS Pro. Python Notebooks allow for code blocks to be executed in smaller chunks and provide a nice presentation flow.
  • For JavaScript presentations, use code editors to highlight code syntax.
  • For JavaScript presentations, participants should be encouraged to write using ES6 standards.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to September 22, 2023.
