Youth Tour Requirements
1. Must be a high school sophomore or junior during the 2024-25 school year.
2. Must be able to participate in the Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C. June 16-21, 2025.
3. Must be able to ride in a car or bus for up to 12 hours (with breaks) in a single day.
4. Must be able to fly in an airplane and provide a valid Minnesota driver's license or Minnesota state-issued ID card.
5. Must agree to reasonably assist TWEC in presentations and news articles promoting the Youth Tour program.
6. Must have parent/guardian give TWEC written permission and a waiver of release for their student to participate in the Youth Tour. *
SELECTION:
- All applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will be considered.
- Preliminary Selection: A judging committee will select up to five (5) applicants to advance to the interview process.
- Final Selection: The final judging will be in the form of an interview process. (February 18th-20th). One applicant will be awarded the opportunity to attend the 2025 NRECA Youth Tour.
-Notification: All applicants will be notified of the outcome. Please select the date(s) and time(s) slots you would be available to interview at the Cooperative's office in Wadena. *
