The International Council of Design's 30th General Assembly (30GA) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held on 19 October 2024 in tandem with the ICoD Platform Meeting from 17–18 October 2024, in Qingdao (China). The events will be hosted by the Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA), a campus of ICoD Member Tsinghua University. These events are open to all Members of the Council.
Each Professional, Promotional or Educational ICoD Member in good standing, receives one (1) vote at the 30 General Assembly and is permitted to register two (2) delegates to attend the events. At the 30GA, one delegate will attend as the voting delegate, and the second delegate will be a non-voting delegate. Please keep in mind that only delegates who have been authorised by the ICoD Member entity may register on their behalf.
The 30GA is a Members-only Meeting. Entities that are not Members of the Council, who are interested in attending the 2024 Platform Meeting as Observers may submit a request for an invitation from the ICoD President. Submit an application via the Community registration system here. Space permitting, a confirmation email will be sent to you when your request has been received.
Please ensure that you have the following information on hand before you start:
— Name and contact information for all delegate(s) you are registering
— Passport details for all those requiring official invitation letters for visas
— Confirmation of which delegate will be the voting delegate.
— Name and contact information of the candidates you would like to nominate
for the 2024-2026 ICoD Executive Board (NB: it will also be possible to submit Nominations at a later date, contact us for more info)
** Note that the system does not send a confirmation email. If your registration is fully submitted you will be directed to a "Thank you" message.
