Thank you for your interest in this year's National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Youth Tour sponsored by Midland Power Cooperative and the Iowa Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives.

Please complete this brief assessment, designed to give you a better understanding of Midland Power and the electric cooperative industry. 

While we've included a short essay question at the end, you may elect to upload a creative piece of your choosing (photo, video, song, short story, etc.) instead. Creative works must be related to Midland Power or electric cooperatives in some way.*  

Once you've submitted your completed application and assessment, you will receive an invitation via email to join your fellow applicants for a pizza dinner and a brief interview with several of Midland Power's directors and/or staff. Interviews will take place the evening of Wednesday, March 26th, either in person at Midland's Boone administrative headquarters building (205 S. Story St., Boone) or via Teams from 6-8 p.m. Please indicate if you'll be attending in person or virtually (you're free to change your selection later, provided you notify us of the change at least two business days in advance). 

All online applications must be completed and received by midnight on March 16, 2025.
