The Gifted + Equity Conference: Serving the Underserved is geared toward the educators who work tirelessly to ensure equitable access for all gifted students. TAGT seeks informational and engaging presenters and presentations for the 2024 Program. Of greatest interest are sessions that provide practical strategies or dive deeper into topics. The majority of attendees for this conference are classroom teachers and district leaders looking for guidance and solutions in serving these learners.

Sessions will focus on students from special populations, including:

  • Culturally, Racially, and Linguistically Diverse
  • Twice-Exceptional Learners (2E)
  • English Language Learners (ELL)
  • Economically Disadvantaged
  • Homeless/Housing Insecure
  • Military
  • LGBTQ
  • Profoundly Gifted

Lecture/presentation sessions will be limited, and you're encouraged to explore how you might adapt your professional learning to be interactive and hands-on.
