HIP HOP POP PICNIC

GET YOUR HIP HOP POP BBQ & PICNIC ENTRY WRISTBANDS HERE

Thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation funding the majority of this event (via Siobhan Hayden's leader award grant), we are excited to put on this fun day for Hip Hop Pop members, your family and friends, everyone is welcome, and you'll need to register your group here to get your entry wrist bands.

Where can you park?

There is parking at The Link, should this get full you can park in the car park next door.

What time is the event?

You are welcome to attend anytime between 11am and 3pm and stay as long as you like, why not make a day of it!

What should you bring?

Feel free to bring your own picnic food, picnic blankets, and soft drinks (anyone wanting alcoholic drinks these must be purchased from the Link, only soft drinks can be brought with you). Bring a few pennies if you wish to purchase any food from the BBQ (service provided by the link in their garden hut), or the ice cream van or other selling type stalls. All games/activities however are FREE :)

What happens if the weather is bad?

Hopefully, it will be a glorious day, but if it's forecast to rain a lot the event will be postponed.

Is the event suitable for all ages?

Absolutely! We'll have some music and games for all ages (including adults!). The idea is it's a relaxing and fun day for you and your families and hopefully students can mix, make friends too.

What will be at the event?

We have the BBQ service booked, some music, Ice cream van, an inflatable assault course (for kids), an inflatable bungee run (for adults and kids), giant Basketball (for adults and kids), Sumo suit wrestling (for adults), some games where you can win Hip Hop Pop prizes and hopefully some football fun, and other stalls to be confirmed. All games/inflatables are free to use.

How many wristbands can you get?

Bring as many of your family and friends as you like! As long as you (as a member) know them they are welcome!

Terms and Conditions:

2. I am aware of and understand the potential risks and dangers associated with physical activity including the use of the equipment and I am voluntarily participating in any of these activities with knowledge of the risks and dangers involved.

3. Hip Hop Pop takes no responsibility for items lost at their premises or third-party premises although Hip Hop Pop will endeavour to help you recover such lost items. 

4. I hereby give Hip Hop Pop permission to use photographs and video clips of anyone in my party on the day of the event for publicity channels including the website and social media. 

5. All children are the responsibility, and in the care of, the parent/guardian at all times. Some of the games and inflatables are not manned and again, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to look after all children at every moment.

6. The following is not tolerated at Hip Hop Pop events: bullying of any kind, disregard of staff, unsafe behaviour, explicit language in front of minors, or any lack of support for peers. Hip Hop Pop reserve the right to ask you to leave the event.

7. You agree not to bring any form of alcohol of your own to the event.

8. You agree to not bring open flames (i.e. own BBQ) to the event, only BBQ service will be provided by The Link.
