COVID-19 Safety Information:
In collaboration with schools and nonprofit organizaitons we have come up with the following policies and recommendations for this year's Day of Caring that prioritizes the safety for volunteers, staff, and our community. When you submit this form, you are indicating you will follow all relevant safety policies.

  • You can specify if you are comfortable with an outside or inside project.
  • We ask that you think about reducing the total number of participants for this year. Most projects will be able to accomodate 5-25 volunteers.
  • There is a potential to split larger volunteer groups across multiple days the week of September 6-10, please indicate if you would potentially like to do a multi-day project.
  • Volunteers must complie with social distancing policies for all projects.
  • Masking will be mandatory for all project staff and volunteers for both indoor and outdoor projects.
  • Hand sanitizing stations or hand washing stations will be made available.
  • All volunteers will be asked to fill out a waiver verifying they are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • In addition to the safety precautions above, all projects will be in compliance with any federal, state, and local regulations.

As always, everything is subject to change. Due to the continued uncertainty, we understand that your commitment to volunteering may need to be canceled or shifted. Please keep Courtney updated with any changes.
