How does WEDI support emerging businesses who want to locate their small business in the Business Incubation Program?

One-on-one coaching, mentorship and business development planning
Workshops, training, and educational resources to expand owner skill set
Individual Vendor Space (if retail vendor)
Indiviual Vendor Space in Shared Commercial Kitchen (if startup restaurant)
Subsidized rent for start-ups (below market rate) that inclides all utilities and many soft costs
Business advisors & professionals on staff/WEDI board
Month-to-Month Lease provides business flexibility

Requirements to participate in our business incubator program

Below are some of the requirements you will need to agree to if accepted into the West Side Bazaar Business Incubator Program

Responsible for following all Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations for business
Desire to open and grow your new business in a supportive and collaborative environment before graduating to your own space
Interested to finding new ways of growing your business, including partnerships and/or collaborations with other tenants
Flexiblity to share common workspace and equipment, ability to work collboaratively with others
Receptive to WEDI Business Incubator Program education and training and willingness to take advice in order to improve business and/or product, as well as to make changes needed to grow and thrive
Adhere to all requirements for tenancy in the West Side Bazaar lease and handbook, including providing WEDI advisers with access to certain financial performance data for your business and honoring menu limitations that promote the co-operative nature of the West Side Bazaar
