from CT + MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, VT
Clubhouse and Saltbox Galleries. 
April 28 - June 9, 2019
 
Best of Show: $1,000 cash prize,
plus a one person exhibit at a mutually agreed upon date in 2019.
 
Additional cash prizes, and gift certificates to be announced on website.

Categories for original work:
Painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, and collage.
Giclees reproductions of original works are not eligible. Work cannot be larger than 48" on the longest side. 
 
Eligibility: Work must have been created during the last 2 calendar years and not previously exhibited in a WHAL juried show. Work must be suitably framed and wired for hanging.  Wrapped canvases are acceptable. Framed dimensions may not exceed 50 inches on longest side.  Work on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas. Sculptures may not weigh more than 50 lbs.  Work will be accepted in person (hand delivered) or uploaded digitally. 
 
 
ENTRY FEES
$20 per entry (non-members) $15 per entry (members) Limit four entries. Two acceptances. 
Checks may be made out to WHAL. There is a $20 late fee if entering work after March 29th.
 
ACCEPTED WORK:
The exhibit will be juried Monday, April 8th.
 
A List of accepted work will be posted on our website Tuesday, April 9th by noon under Call to Artists..
 
Accepted digital work must be delivered to the West Hartford Art League, framed, wired, and ready to hang, on or before: Wednesday, April 17th, 12 noon. No exceptions.
 
Please deliver to the Clubhouse Gallery, 37 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford, CT . Saturday, April 6th, 2-4 p.m
 
WEBSITE NOTIFICATION: Tuesday, April 9th, by 12 noon. 
 
UNACCEPTED PICK-UP: Wednesday, April 10th, 10 - 12.noon  Saturday, April 13th, 11 - 12 noon.
 
 
SALES AND LIABILITY:
The West Hartford Art League will receive a 30% donation on all works sold. WHAL will not be responsible for loss or damage to any work.
 
All work must be for sale. No exceptions.
 
Opening reception and awards: Sunday, April 28, 2 - 4 p.m.

Pre-registration form - required. Five easy steps
 
1. All artists:  fill out and return this form with payment by: Friday, March 29th, 12 noon. All entries submitted after March 29th will be charged a $20 LATE FEE after this date.
 
If submitting work digitally: 1. Upload your images below  2. fill out this form. and 3. process your payment online with a credit card.
 
If you are bringing work in person: 1. Fill out this form (INCLUDE TITLE OF WORK, MEDIUM, SIZE AND PRICE but DO NOT UPLOAD IMAGES and submit digitally or print it and mail to us by March 29th  
2. process your payment below or send in a check by March 29th  
3. Show up on April 6th with your artwork. 2-4 p.m.
 
Be sure to attach labels to the back of your work. Labels can be found on our website under call to artists.
