Note: Family Child Care Business Essentials (FCCBE) is currently being piloted as a self-directed, self-paced course where participants can proceed through learning materials and a series of one-on-one meetings with a child care business expert at their own pace and will have up to 2.5 months to complete the materials. Applications for FCCBE are on hold as we conduct and evaluate this pilot and how this course will be offered in the future. Family Child Care Business Essentials at WomenVenture is a 10-session virtual classroom learning experience that prepares participants to launch a new professional family child care business. With a focus on building a solid business foundation that leads to profitability and sustainability, participants will apply concepts learned through simulated activities in an interactive group environment.
To be considered for the program, you must have completed the Exploring Child Care Information Session and you must complete this application in its entirety. At the end of this form (once you press Submit), you will be re-directed to the WomenVenture portal where you will create a profile. Please ensure that you register and fully complete your profile in the portal in order for your application to be considered.
