Please join other communities and community organizations for a special 2-hour workshop, October 30, 2023, from 3pm-5pm eastern to build capacity and strategies that empower frontline groups to guide redevelopment and revitalization, and to envision community transformation. 

Howard University School of Law’s Environmental and Climate Justice Center, the Environmental Protection Network, the Environmental Law Institute, the Environmental Collaboratory of Drexel University, and other experts in the field will help attendees learn how to access federal brownfield funds to address vacant, underutilized properties affected by real or perceived environmental contamination such as asbestos, lead, petroleum. This event is also intended to determine the need for future sessions.
