Paly Athletics

Welcome to the 2024-2025 season! We are excited for this school year and have created a quick summary guide with relevant athletics information including: athletic registration, information for transfer students, donation information, ASB cards, and ticketing for athletic events. Please keep an eye out on our website for updates.

** ATHLETICS PARENTS/COACHES MEETING **
Join us on Thursday, August 22 from 7-8pm in the Peery Center for the Fall 2024 Parents/Coaches Meeting. We highly encourage ALL parents of athletes to attend this meeting to learn more about the athletic department in general, as well as more sport-specific info from your coaches.

Athletic Registration
Online athletic registration is mandatory for any student who plans to participate in athletics at Paly. Athletes must be cleared through the online registration process before they can practice with their team.

  • Registration opened June 5, 2024
  • Detailed instructions can be found on our Athletic Clearance Information page
  • It is recommended that students get their physical between mid-June and
late July of each year. This way the physical will be good for all three
athletic seasons for the entire school year.

Athletic Transfers
If you are transferring to Paly from a different high school, please complete the necessary paperwork. This does not pertain to incoming freshmen. A-B-A Transfer Form is for students who attended Paly, moved and attended a different school, and are now returning to Paly. General Transfer Form is for all other transfers. Please return completed form to Assistant Athletic Director, Fatima Giffen (fgiffen@pausd.org), to clear your athlete to play in the upcoming season.

Donations & Fundraising
Each Paly sports team will have a donation portal on our website for their team. The general ask for a participation donation is $100 per athlete and coaches increase that ask based on program-specific needs. All funds donated through the donation portals on palyathletics.com will go towards supporting Paly Athletics and individual teams (no revenue sharing); all donations are tax deductible and donor information is kept confidential. We appreciate your support! ‘Sko Vikes!

ASB Student Body Cards
When you purchase an ASB card for your student, you will not only get a discount to dances and other ASB events, your student will also get free entrance to all regular-season home games. Purchase your ASB card at the Paly Webstore.

Ticketing — GoFan!
Paly Athletics has partnered with GoFan! as the ticketing platform for athletic events. All tickets for home events will be available for purchase online. It should be noted that admission prices are set by the league (SCVAL) and apply to both home and away events.

Associated Student Body (ASB)

What is ASB? ASB is comprised of the students elected or appointed to represent the student body or to oversee specific tasks relating to school events, activities, and the Paly community. Being an Elected or Appointed Officer for the Associated Student Body of Palo Alto High School is an honor and a large responsibility. ASB officers are chosen to represent their class or the students at Paly as a whole and to ensure student interests and activities are upheld.
